Days 7-9: North Cascades National Park
Then I hustled it up to North Cascades. I originally thought I'd spend a
day and leave, but I ended up spending two days, in order to do a couple
of different hikes. I got there and immediately checked out the Ladder
Creek Falls. The next day, I did the hikes near the visitor center (and
saw a whole lot of salmon spawning) and then did the Cascade Pass trail
(7 miles round-trip, maybe 1500' ascent). On the third day, I went and
hiked out to Blue Lake.
